100 day war, 2nd assault

Today the weather was kinder than yesterday. Although it threatened several times early and then late, no rain fell at CCN. Which was good as we had work to make up from yesterday's weather disaster. I'm happy to say that my staff kicked butt. We finished today's work and made up for yesterday!

This week's projects.

July 1 starts a new fiscal year and I am wasting no time in setting out to accomplish this year's goals. On of those goals is to get all of the huge ficus hedges around the property trimmed. This is no easy task due to the size of the hedges.

The key to getting a job done right is using the right tool for the right job. Fortunately I know the right guy to trim the hedges. I hired a citrus groove trimming company that has made their own ficus hedge trimming machine. This machine is all custom built so that the operator can manipulate the trimking head 360 degrees on all three axis. The machine does in a week what would take 3-4 months by hand.
